Job summary

Highland Park United Methodist Church's Mockingbird campus is seeking a Groups Coordinator to plan and promote small groups, coordinate launch events, and support leaders throughout the year. The role focuses on data management, volunteer coordination, and creating welcoming community environments to help people grow in their faith.

You will collaborate with clergy and staff, manage registrations, track attendance, and produce reports to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ministry experience (volunteer or staff).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute spring and fall small group launch events.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and support small group leaders.
• Maintain small group and participant records in the church database.
• Promote groups through church communications and support admin tasks.
• Collaborate with staff to strengthen belonging across demographics and venues.
• Oversee leader appreciation, training, and recognition.
