Job summary

Highland Park UMC in Dallas, TX is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to engage congregants in volunteerism and service opportunities aligned with its mission. This full-time role involves developing strategies, coordinating events, and supporting outreach ministry efforts within the church community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and experience in ministry or social service. Responsibilities also include overseeing volunteer tracking and appreciation, collaborating with ministries, and leading church-wide serving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in ministry or social service organization preferred.
• Experience in event planning and organizing preferred.
• Ability to manage in high intensity, high stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for increasing volunteer participation.
• Lead internal efforts around Serving Day.
• Plan and execute quarterly Outreach Partner Events.
