Job summary

Christensen Group Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Benefits Coordinator who will coordinate with insurance carriers, assist clients with benefit plans, and ensure COBRA/ERISA/HSA/FSA compliance.

The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with care. You will help with renewals, enrollment meetings, billing and eligibility issues, and you will work both independently and with a team to deliver accurate, confidential HR and employee benefits

Qualifications

• Must understand group benefits including medical, dental, disability, life and voluntary plans.
• Familiar with COBRA, ERISA, FSA, HSA and HRA concepts.
• Excel proficiency and solid math foundation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with insurance companies to address client issues and solve problems.
• Support agency directives in managing agency/carrier relationships.
• Assist with annual renewals and prepare for open enrollment meetings.
• Manage customer needs through servicing daily activities.
• Assist with billing, claims and eligibility issues.
• Support clients in implementing changes to benefit plans.
• Provide additional support as needed.
