Job summary

OneDigital is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of small group insurance clients. You will be the primary contact for questions, renewals, and benefits administration to ensure smooth operations for health, dental, vision and life coverages.

You will gather census data, present renewal options, and coordinate enrollment with the sales team. A Life and Health license is required or obtainable within 90 days; strong client service and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, account management, or insurance brokerage.
• Active Life and Health insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Knowledge of small group medical, dental, vision and ancillary products is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: respond to employer and employee questions about plans, claims and billing.
• Renewals: collect census data, review plan performance, and quote renewals.
• Presentations: prepare renewal options, cost analyses, and summaries for sales.
• Enrollment: coordinate open enrollment meetings and onboarding with sales and clients.
• Compliance: ensure policies comply with ACA, COBRA, ERISA.
• Carrier Relations: maintain relationships with carriers and general agents.
