Qualifications

  • 0–6 months professional work experience in relevant mechanical trades preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing basic service and repairs on a limited portfolio of handpieces and/or small equipment as assigned by Supervisor

  • Performs other tasks as assigned by lead or management.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Basic electrical / mechanical skills desired.
  • Basic math and logic skills required.
  • Basic computer skills and software use desired.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Willingness to learn repair of more advanced products.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

0- 6 months professional work experience with proficiency in relevant mechanical trades preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel - typically not required. Position typically works in a manufacturing environment on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, and operate manual and non-manual machinery; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and lift up to 20 pounds. Position requires that the employee use eye protection using certain equipment/machinery.
