Job summary

Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Small Equipment Operator for our Madison recycling center on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will operate forklifts, skid steers, balers, stack and move baled material, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• The ability to pass small equipment training and certification
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operate small equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, balers, etc.
• Stacking/Cleaning baled material
• Moving material throughout the facility and emptying full containers
• General preventative maintenance on machines
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
