Job summary

EGELHOFF LAWN MOWER SERVICE INC is seeking a full-time Small Engine Technician for its Thiensville, WI shop. You will diagnose and repair lawn mowers and other small engines, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety inspections are completed.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair small gasoline-powered engines, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
• Skills in performing routine preventive maintenance on lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment, such as tune-ups, blade sharpening, belt replacement, and safety inspections.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals in a repair shop or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to document work clearly, and follow established repair and safety procedures.
• Customer service skills, including clear communication about repair needs, timelines, and equipment care recommendations.
