EGELHOFF LAWN MOWER SERVICE INC is seeking a full-time Small Engine Technician for its Thiensville, WI shop. You will diagnose and repair lawn mowers and other small engines, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety inspections are completed.

Strong customer communication is required to explain repairs and care guidance. You will work in a hands-on environment, manage parts with the team, keep a clean workspace, and follow safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Ability to diagnose and repair small gasoline-powered engines, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
Skills in performing routine preventive maintenance on lawn mowers and outdoor power equipment, such as tune-ups, blade sharpening, belt replacement, and safety inspections.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals in a repair shop or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail, ability to document work clearly, and follow established repair and safety procedures.
Customer service skills, including clear communication about repair needs, timelines, and equipment care recommendations.

Responsibilities
