Job summary

S&H Farm Supply is seeking a Small Engine Mechanic to repair and maintain lawn mowers, chainsaws, and powersports equipment. You will diagnose issues, disassemble engines, replace parts, and perform tune-ups while keeping precise records and communicating with customers.

The role may require some Saturdays and occasional overtime; pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and background check are required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed to pick up and deliver equipment.

Small Engine Mechanic

A small engine mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining small engines, such as those found in lawn mowers, chainsaws, with an emphasis on powersports equipment. The mechanic will diagnose problems, disassemble engines, and repair or replace defective parts. They will also perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tune-ups, and test engines to ensure they are running properly. The mechanic will keep accurate records of all work performed and communicate with customers about the status of their equipment.
