Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing and maintaining small engines.
• Ability to explain diagnosis and repairs clearly to customers.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures.
• Desire to contribute to a positive team culture.
• Uphold company values while delivering profitable service.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of small engine theory: lubrication, cooling, ignition and fuel systems.
• Certifications from major manufacturers like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton.
• Master certification is a plus.
• Experience with electrical systems, pumps, hydraulic theory and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Source & order parts for customers.
• Diagnose and repair small engines/equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of Northern Tool + Equipment's national and private label brands.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
