Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Field Services Technician to perform in-store and mobile sales, service and repair of products. The role involves diagnosing and repairing small engines and equipment, sourcing parts for customers, and maintaining knowledge of our brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years repairing and maintaining small engines (2-year certification preferred).
• Ability to clearly explain diagnosis and repair to customers.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including 110- and 220-volt electrical systems.
• Travel locally and regionally up to 50% with occasional overnight stays.
• Observe all safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Source and order parts for customers.
• Diagnose and repair small engines/equipment.

• Complete reports and forms required with work assignments.
