Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic for our Fort Lauderdale area commercial shop. You will diagnose, repair, and service small engines and related equipment, while enjoying a dedicated workstation and lift to maximize efficiency.

You’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with overtime as needed. Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $85,000+ annually, with a strong benefits package and performance-based bonuses tied to efficiency and recovery rates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of small engine repair experience required.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine repairs.
• Repair and maintain small engines and commercial equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Work from dedicated workstation and lift to inspect, repair and service equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspace.
• Partner with shop coordinators to manage workflow and improve recovery efficiency.
