Job summary

SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities is seeking a Small Engine & Electrical Equipment Repair Technician for our Chesapeake office. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and small engine equipment daily, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

We value reliability and hands-on skills, offering competitive pay of $20–$23 per hour, a stable schedule from 7:30AM to 5PM Monday–Friday with occasional extended hours for urgent onsite repairs, and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to stand on feet for extended periods.
• Able to work 7:30AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday, with extended hours for onsite and emergency repairs.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to use an iPad/laptop.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair electrical equipment including Air Movers, Dehumidifiers, Air Scrubbers, Compressors, Floor Scrapers, Extraction Devices, Portable Steam Cleaning Equipment, Floor Scrubbers.
• Trouble shoot and repair equipment with small gasoline engines including Portable Generators, Air Compressors, Duct Vacuums, Insulation Vacuums.
• Ability to repair equipment in a warehouse setting and/or in the field.
• Ability to track and record repaired equipment based on asset number and order necessary parts to keep repairs flowing smoothly.
