Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager – Small Business to join our Chicago, IL team. The role focuses on day-to-day client service, renewal management, and accurate data handling in our system of record.

You will support submissions, exposure gathering, and loss exhibits while coordinating with Producers/Account Executives to secure optimal market terms. Licensing may be required by the Company.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty business and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and follow established procedures.
• Hold or be willing to obtain insurance licenses as required.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day client service on an assigned book of business.
• Support renewal strategy, including market discussions, exposure gathering, and loss reviews.
• Create submissions, assist with placement, and prepare proposals and binders.
• Draft exposure data, loss exhibits, submissions, and proposals.
• Obtain loss run or policy documentation from carriers as needed.
• Keep system of record updated with client conversations and policy documents.
• Process audits and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Assist with billing setup and monthly invoicing per corporate guidelines.
• Coordinate with carriers and intermediaries to align renewals with best markets.
• Support corporate initiatives and drive accountability and collaboration.
