Job summary

Axos Bank in San Diego is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to support sales goals while servicing existing Small Business Banking customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will collect and review new account applications, perform due diligence to ensure risk controls meet BSA/AML standards, manage the external email inbox, respond to inquiries, and act as the SME to drive procedural improvements for the group.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required.
• 1+ year experience in financial services in a support/processing role.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review new account applications and documentation required to determine if they are within the Bank's risk tolerance guidelines and assign applications to Relationship Managers as appropriate.
• Perform due diligence on new small business deposit account applications, to assess risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Manage the external email inbox for Small Business Banking and respond or assign to the Relationship Manager for the relationship; manage inbound customer service cases with timely response.
• Act as the Small Business Banking SME to make recommendations and lead procedural and process enhancement initiatives for the group.
