This position provides technicalsupport to clinical faculty and senior veterinary students in theICU/ECC (Emergency Critical Care) sections of the VeterinaryTeaching Hospital. Assists clinicians in receiving emergencypatients, help triage and admit patients. Performs critical carenursing procedures in the Intensive Care Unit or treatment areas asdirected by clinical faculty and instructs senior veterinarystudents in technical and manipulative skills relating to ECC/ICUduring regular day shift or after hours shifts. On call and coversICU shifts, including holidays. Assist in other areas as directedby supervisor.
At least 2 years experience in a veterinary clinical setting, withemphasis on emergency and critical care. VTS certification inECC.
