PGIM Custom Harvest in Newark, NJ seeks a Director to lead Fixed Income SMA Operations, driving the end-to-end operating model and controls for scalable growth. You will partner with portfolio management, trading, implementation, and client service to ensure seamless execution and risk-managed processes.

The role requires 10+ years in SMA/fixed income operations, strong leadership, and a track record of automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SMA and fixed income operations.
• Experience leading investment operations teams and scaling processes.
• Deep knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and custody.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to implement automation and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational function for Fixed Income SMA, establishing operating model and service standards.
• Partner with SMA Fixed Income Implementation, trading and portfolio management to execute portfolio activity.
• Oversee onboarding of new SMA accounts across systems, custodians, and trading platforms.
• Ensure controls around trade capture, allocation, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities to automate and scale.
• Collaborate with Client Service and distribution to resolve complex operational matters.
• Build and develop a high-performing Fixed Income SMA Operations team.
