PGIM Custom Harvest, a division of PGIM Global Wealth, seeks a Senior Fixed Income Trader to lead the launch of a fixed income SMA platform. The role is hands-on with end-to-end accountability, trading and managing client portfolios, establishing processes, and driving growth of the SMA business.

The candidate will work with PMs, operations, compliance, and tech partners to ensure best execution, strong risk controls, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of fixed income trading experience, with 3-5 years in SMA/wealth or institutional fixed income.
• CFA designation is a plus.
• Series 7 and Series 63 (or Series 66) preferred; willing to obtain if required.
• Ability to build processes, relationships, and infrastructure in a developing business environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; client-first mindset.
• Disciplined approach to risk management.

Responsabilités

• Execute trades across a range of fixed income securities for individual client SMA accounts.
• Manage day-to-day portfolio activity, including cash flows, position adjustments, and ongoing risk monitoring.
• Develop and refine trading processes, workflows, and dealer relationships.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and technology partners.
• Maintain a strong focus on best execution, risk management, and fiduciary standards.
• Support the scaling of the fixed income SMA business over time.
