Job summary

FLSmidth in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Product Development Engineer for Slurry Pumps to design, develop, and improve pump products and related systems. You will create and maintain designs, assemblies, and engineering documentation, supporting new product development and sustaining engineering across the pump portfolio.

Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Service to deliver reliable, cost-effective pump solutions that meet customer requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years' experience, or equivalent with 7+ years in design.
• Experience designing industrial equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps.
• Proficiency with CATIA for 3D modeling and drawings.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously improve pump products and assemblies.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
• Support new product development and sustaining engineering across the pump portfolio.
• Collaborate with product management, operations, supply chain, sales, and service.
