Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, product development or a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Use of basic hand tools including quality measuring devices.
• 2D drawing and understanding of GD&T.
• Project management and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance products based on customer and business requirements
• Collaborate with product management, design, manufacturing and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Create and edit Bill of Materials for variety of products
• Conduct product testing, validation and performance analysis
• Identify design improvements to enhance quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost efficiency
• Support new product introduction and product launches
• Perform root cause analysis for product failures and recommend solutions
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and continuous improvement
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues
• Work individually or as part of a team and ability to multi-task
