Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking an SLT Engineer to develop and optimize test solutions for next-gen processors. You will work across the NPI lifecycle, from silicon bring-up through production, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability goals are met.

The ideal candidate collaborates with design, diagnostics, foundry, and engineering teams, analyzes product and test data, and drives improvements in yield and test efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred.
• Experience with SLT or similar test environments is a plus.
• Strong data analytics and scripting capabilities needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and optimize SLT test programs for AMD processors.
• Support new product bring-up, characterization, and test margin analysis.
• Analyze data to identify yield, quality, and test time improvements.
• Investigate silicon, firmware, design, and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product readiness.
• Improve test methodologies and automation to increase efficiency.
