Job summary

Graphcore in Austin, Texas, is seeking an experienced System Level Test Engineer to join the Product Test and Diagnostics team. You will help develop SLT solutions for next-generation AI processors, collaborating with hardware, software, validation and manufacturing groups to improve silicon bring-up and production readiness.

The role requires strong semiconductor test fundamentals, debugging skills and scripting experience (Python, Tcl or Shell) to build automation, diagnostics and data

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor test, validation, characterization, post-silicon bring-up, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Tcl, Shell) for test workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SLT test content, automation, diagnostics for silicon bring-up and production readiness.
• Execute characterization, margining, reliability screening, and correlate results for improvements.
• Support SLT hardware like test boards, sockets, instrumentation and thermal solutions.
• Integrate validation workloads into SLT environment and assist manufacturing screening.
• Debug failures, perform root-cause analysis and support cross-functional teams.
• Develop software tools and automation flows for test execution and telemetry.
• Improve test coverage, time optimization and DPPM reduction.
• Collaborate with Design, DFT, Validation, Product Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Assist transfer of SLT solutions into production and ramp activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive SLT methodologies.
