Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a System Safety Engineer to support the NASA Space Launch System at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This role requires 5+ years of system safety engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in engineering. The selected candidate will conduct hazard analyses and safety assessments throughout the upper stage integration process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent system safety engineering experience.
• Experience developing System Safety Analysis Reports (SSARs).
• Familiarity with cryogenic upper-stage failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze hazards associated with SLS Upper Stage integration.
• Prepare safety documentation and ensure compliance with NASA requirements.
• Review operational procedures for safety control requirements.
