Job summary

New Heights Ventures is seeking a Coordinator to lead administrative operations for client services under California regulations. You will supervise Personal Care Attendants and guide staff in implementing person-centered plans while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service delivery.

The role requires experience with adults with developmental disabilities, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with TCRC and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with adults with developmental disabilities or similar population.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in managing personnel, operations and client service issues.
• Strong knowledge of person-centered planning, independent living services, and regional center systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day administrative operations for assigned caseloads and ensure continuity of services.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate work of Personal Care Attendants (PCAs); ensure staff performance meets standards.
• Conduct onboarding, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations; address performance concerns.
• Make recommendations on hiring, promotion, discipline, retention, scheduling and staffing; senior leadership reviews proposals.
• Exercise independent judgment in resolving staffing, operational, client service issues with minimal supervision.
• Develop and monitor individualized service plans aligned with TCRC authorizations and client needs.
• Monitor service quality, identify barriers, implement improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
• Interpret and apply agency policies, TCRC requirements, and state/federal regulations for compliance.
• Establish and monitor documentation systems; ensure timely submission of reports and records.
• Review staff documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Collect and communicate relevant client information to stakeholders to inform decisions.
• Coordinate with TCRC service coordinators, families, providers to ensure coordinated care.
