MedCare Pediatric in Texas seeks a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-on-one therapy in the child’s home, helping develop communication, feeding, and swallowing skills. You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and collaborate with families to support each child’s goals.

The position offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time or PRN caseloads, weekday and after-school availability, and a sign-on bonus.

Formación

  • Graduate of an accredited SLPA program.
  • Current Texas SLPA license, or eligible by start date.
  • One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide speech-language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
  • Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child’s goals.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

As a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at MedCare Pediatric, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one care while helping children develop essential communication, feeding, and swallowing skills. Qualifications
