MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver one-on-one speech, language, feeding, and swallowing therapy in children’s homes under supervision of a licensed SLP. Flexible scheduling supports full-time, part-time, and PRN caseloads with after-school and weekend options.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary care team, ongoing progress monitoring, and thorough documentation.

Competenze

• Experience in pediatric therapy preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish).
• Strong communication with families and care teams.

Mansioni

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
