MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-on-one therapy in childrens home environments. You will work under a licensed SLP, supporting communication, feeding, and swallowing goals while coordinating with families and care teams.

Flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, plus a sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads. Join a collaborative team focused on growth, quality patient care, and meaningful outcomes

Competenze

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • Current Texas SLPA license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.

Mansioni

  • Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding and swallowing needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and care team.
  • Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Conoscenze

Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
  • One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
