Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-on-one therapy in a child’s home. The role supports communication, feeding, and swallowing goals under supervision, with pediatric-focused care and collaborative team support.

The position offers flexible scheduling options (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and a sign-on bonus for eligible full-time caseloads, with opportunities for professional growth and meaningful family

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Current Texas SLPA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child's goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
