AZA United invites you to join our interdisciplinary Speech Language Services team as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at our West Valley Center in Avondale, AZ. This full-time role (30-40 hrs/week) is supervised by an SLP and offers opportunities for professional growth in a supportive nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences or related field with coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment as per supervising SLP and treatment plans.
• Implement therapy goals in individual and group settings to address social language skills.
• Data collection and record keeping for all services.
• Participate in training/shadowing with supervisors, parents, and team members.
• Offer interventions to families for speech and language goals.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors, therapy team, providers and parents/guardians.
• Submit paperwork and data reports accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with families to provide family-centered services.
