Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, AZ is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support Speech Language Impaired students under the supervision of a licensed SLP. The role includes direct therapy assistance, documentation, and contributing to assessment data.

Qualifications

• Requires ASHA-aligned SLPA program or Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with AAC devices and data collection/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy assistance to students under the supervising SLP.
• Assist with informal documentation as directed by the SLP.
• Document student progress towards objectives and report to the SLP.
• Assist in collecting and tallying data for assessments.
• Prepare and process records and materials for documentation.
