Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise, part of Vibra Healthcare, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Boise, ID. The role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, and direct therapy under physician orders in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive SLP services, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families during acute care recovery and weaning from ventilators

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathologist in Idaho.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) or in progress of completing CFY.
• Member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
