Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to deliver patient-centered therapy in Belpre, OH. You will provide 1:1 care, collaborate with a care team, and support patients and families in a home health environment.

The position emphasizes independence with team support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of experience as an SLP.
• Current, unrestricted SLP license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate levels of speech or language difficulty and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to produce sounds and improve voice
• Educate and guide healthcare team, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions.
• Document progress and clinical notes, and submit visit documentation per policy.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
