Adoration Health in Fayette, AL is seeking a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN scheduling. You will provide 1:1 patient care in home settings across Fayette and nearby counties, evaluating and treating speech and language disorders with autonomy and team collaboration.

The role emphasizes independence with strong support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within a growing company. Licensed SLPs in good standing are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted state license to practice.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with patients to evaluate levels of speech or language difficulty and determine continued therapy.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises.
• Document progress and clinical notes and submit visit documentation per policy.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
