Adoration Health, in partnership with Northeast Georgia Home Health, is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our Gainesville, GA team. You will deliver patient-centered care in a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

This full-time role offers a $15k sign-on bonus for external candidates, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), mileage reimbursement, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language needs and determine therapy requirements.
• Teach patients to produce sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language) as needed.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
