Job summary

Adoration Health's Northeast Georgia Home Health in Gainesville, GA is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide patient-centered home health therapy. You will evaluate, treat, and document progress while collaborating with a care team to support patients at home.

The role offers full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules with a $15k sign-on bonus for external candidates and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching, plus generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient’s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy
