Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our home health team in Fayetteville, GA. You will provide patient-centered, 1:1 care in the home setting, working to enhance communication and swallowing abilities while coordinating with a supportive team.

The role offers a flexible PRN schedule (8 hrs/week) and opportunities for growth within a stable, expanding company. A state license, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of SLP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state regulations

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document progress and clinical notes noting patient response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
