Overview: Are you a Speech Language Pathologist looking for a new opportunity? Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health SLP to join our team in Fayetteville, GA. Our Home Health SLP provides expert, patient-centered care. Office Location: Fayetteville, GA. Coverage area: Clayton, Fayette, Coweta. Schedule: PRN, 8 hrs/week.

Responsibilities

• As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will: Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient\'s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master\'s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• A minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations
