Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise, a Vibra Healthcare facility in Boise, ID, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, implement and document patient care. You will work under physician orders in a fast-paced, supportive environment that emphasizes patient and family-centered care.

Required credentials include an active SLP license, CCC-SLP or CFY in progress, ASHA membership, and BLS certification. One year of experience is preferred, with strong organizational and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice SLP in the state of employment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) or CFY in progress.
• Member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathology services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and documentation.

Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
