Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia seeks a detail‑oriented Administrative Coordinator for the Speech-Language Pathology Department to oversee administrative systems, reports and billing processes. You will support the Chair/Program Director, manage data, accreditation tasks, and coordinate externships, meetings and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, at least two years in healthcare or academic admin, proficient MS Office, strong written/verbal skills, and experience with data

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an academic or healthcare environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (including Excel) and software upgrades.
  • Proficient in producing reports, minutes, announcements, and other communications in an attractive and accurate manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative systems, policies and processes for the Speech-Language Pathology Department.
  • Coordinate program mechanisms including student learning, externship placements, and accreditation processes.
  • Collaborate with alumni to gather and enter data for reporting and accreditation purposes.
  • Enter and track data related to accreditation and budget activities.
  • Prepare pre-purchase forms and enter materials to create purchase orders for program needs.
