Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II to join our inpatient therapy team. You’ll evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and care teams to improve voice, independence, and quality of life.

You will deliver patient‑centered therapy, complete comprehensive assessments, and educate families to support ongoing progress.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Speech Language Pathology license required.
• Minimum of five years’ work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Advanced specialty certification in BCS‑S, FEES, MBSImP, or VFSS.
• Ability to independently manage high‑acuity, medically complex, and specialty populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication disorders.
• Deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered therapy in partnership with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, establish functional goals, and document progress in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
