Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support weekday and weekend coverage, vacations, and unscheduled absences. You will work with an experienced rehab team to provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and deliver therapy focused on communication and swallowing goals.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Speech-Language Pathology license.
• RQI/BLS certification within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
• Minimum of two years' experience in the assigned specialty area preferred.
• Ability to connect to the internet for daily data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech therapy evaluations addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized, goal-directed treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions per department standards and guidelines.
• Complete timely documentation (evaluations, notes, discharge summaries) per payer/state requirements.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to stakeholders promptly.
• Maintain SLP standards and comply with provider orders.
• Protect patient rights, privacy, and cultural sensitivity during interactions.
• Participate in departmental and organizational projects to enhance rehabilitation services.
• Meet productivity expectations and operate therapy equipment safely.
