Job summary

KIPP Northern California Public Schools in Stockton is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, design, and implement language services for students. You will collaborate with IEP teams, supervise SLPA staff, and support a team-based approach to communication goals.

The role requires a CA credential or RPE temporary license; 2+ years of experience is preferred, with Autism experience and bilingual skills (Spanish or Vietnamese) encouraged.

Qualifications

• CA credential for Speech Language Pathologist or RPE temporary license.
• Knowledge of CA and federal special education law and ASHA guidelines.
• Experience with diagnosing and planning IEP-based speech language services.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience, including work with Autism.

Responsibilities

• Appraise the speech and language needs of students to design and implement remediation.
• Analyze assessment results to drive instruction and IEP development.
• Attend and serve on IEP teams to determine eligibility of students.
• Prepare thorough, accurate reports in a timely manner and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate IEP meetings, develop IEP documents, and monitor timelines.
• Provide classroom support and collaborate with general and special education staff.
