Job summary

KIPP Northern California Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, advise, and implement services for students. You will collaborate with a team and benefit from mentorship from a Speech Language Pathology lead through weekly consultations.

Responsibilities include participating in IEPs, documenting progress, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Travel within the SF Bay Area is required, with mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications

• CA Credential authorizing service as a Speech Language Pathologist or RPE Temporary License.
• Two years' experience preferred and/or experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities

• Appraise speech and language needs to design remediation and instructional plans.
• Analyze results to drive IEP development and instruction.
• Attend IEP meetings and determine eligibility.
• Prepare reports compliant with laws and district guidelines.
• Explain assessment purpose to IEP teams.
• Develop IEPs addressing communication and literacy needs.
• Create diverse activities meeting language goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies.
• Serve as case manager for speech-only students and coordinate meetings.
