Job summary

Behavioral Health Clinic in Wausau, WI seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment and treatment for clients aged six and older at our Grant Street location. This fee-for-service role can be part-time or full-time depending on needs.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, designing individualized plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Wisconsin licensure and CCC-SLP are preferred; EHR proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure.
• CCC-SLP preferred; strong CF candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized and informal assessment tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to clients ages six and older.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to clients, families, caregivers, and referral sources.
• Evaluate and treat feeding and swallowing concerns when qualified and experienced to provide these services.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, physicians, educators, and other professionals to support coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Prepare evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
