Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Portland, OR is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to deliver one-on-one therapy in home and community settings. You will assist individuals with neurological conditions to improve communication, cognition and independence where it matters most.

The role involves evaluations, treatment planning, progress reassessment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
• Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with up to 100 pounds
• Physical capability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home safety recommendations and resources
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patients and family
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and better outcomes
