Job summary

Douglas ESD is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for Jackson Early Intervention / Early Childhood Special Education in Medford, Oregon. The role is 190 days, five days a week, eight hours daily, beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

Salary ranges from $63,333 to $89,195 per year, depending on verifiable experience. The position involves participating in IEP/IFSP processes, delivering and supervising instructional programs, and collecting therapy data while maintaining appropriate

Qualifications

• Requires a valid SLP license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology prior to the first day of employment, OR a TSPC license with an endorsement for communication disorders or speech impairment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes the effectiveness of strategies used with students, parents, and staff.
• Participates as a team member (IEP/IFSP, Placement) and leads or supports others.
• Assess students' functioning and therapy needs.
• Develops IEP/IFSP for eligible students.
• Designs and supervises instructional programs to meet IEP/IFSP goals.
• Collects, records, and evaluates therapy data.
• Manages student behavior effectively.
