Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for patients with communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia. You will work across neonate to geriatric ages in a collaborative setting.

This role requires CCS/ASHA credential, Georgia licensure, BCLS, and a commitment to patient-centered care; supervision of rehab staff may be involved.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school.
• CCC - Clinical Speech Pathologist certification from ASHA.
• Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia.
• Interprets assessment data; plans and performs treatment interventions to restore function and maximize potential.
• Supervises rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers; may orient and guide assigned staff.
