Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology to support students in a school-based setting near Carlsbad, NM. This full-time contract welcomes local and traveling professionals, offering mentorship under expert supervision to build hands-on experience.

As you begin your CFY year, you will conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions, develop IEPs, and document progress according to district and federal guidelines while collaborating with teachers, families,

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a clinical fellowship year for speech-language pathology (must be eligible for CFY)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active SLP license in New Mexico
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents
• Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with school staff and families

Responsibilities

• Conducting screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with speech/language needs
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Documenting progress and preparing reports according to district and federal guidelines
• Consulting with teachers, families, and fellow therapists to maximize student outcomes
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing as a valued member of the school team
