Job summary

Relient Health is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Winfield, AL. The position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative rehab team.

You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, develop individualized plans, document progress, and coordinate care with therapists and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current AL SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP preferred, CFs may be considered when supervision is available.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
