Job summary

Relient Health in Oxford, AL is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rehab team. The role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative work environment.

You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, develop individualized plans, document progress in EMR, and work closely with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current AL SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFs will be considered when supervision is available.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress using EMR systems
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress
